About Us
Flower Wholesalers is a family-run business. We have been operating since 1986, from the same location you’ll find us at today – 72a Barry’s Point Road, Takapuna.
We’re proud to have 3 generations currently involved with our florist shop.
Leo van der Linden opened the store in 1986 along with Ingrid Van Der Linden-Carter, his daughter. Lisa van der Linden-Marsh (another of Leo’s daughters) joined the business in 1987 and has been operating the store alongside Leo since 1996.
Lisa’s career at Flower Wholesalers Takapuna began as a junior and worked her way up. She has done her florist training under one of Auckland’s top florists and puts all her energy and expertise into the business. She brings years of experience and an expert florist’s eye to her role as manager at the store.
Lisa’s two kids also help out at the store and have put together a few flower bouquets themselves! The Flower Wholesalers family are proud to pass on the knowledge and expertise in floristry down to the next generations.
Our point of difference is that we aim to deliver the best prices possible to our customers. Our expertise comes from spending years in the Auckland floristry business. We also love working with our customers to design something special in-store, whether that’s a one-off flower bouquet or creating and delivering wedding flower arrangements.
We recently celebrated 30 years in business! You may have seen us featured in the North Shore Times – we will put up a link here soon for those who didn’t catch the feature.
