Cancellation Policy

If an order is cancelled anytime previous to 5pm on the day prior of delivery, your order will be refunded in full to the payment device you made payment with. To cancel your order, simply reply to your confirmation email or phone us on +64 9 4899653

This does not apply to weddings

Returns Policy

As a rule, we stock the freshest flowers and keep them refrigerated to keep them closed until delivery, meaning the Recipient gets the longest vase life from their flowers – rather than us!

If you are not completely happy with your flowers please contact us and we will do our best to rectify the issue.
We trust that customers are providing us with full and correct address details – however Flower Wholesalers Takapuna accepts no responsibility for damages or delays if you position an address to be non-rural, when it is. If you have any queries whether your delivery is rural, please either consult GoogleMaps or contact us and we can check our courier schedule.

Substitution Policy

We attempt to make the finished product as close as possible to both your specifications and the pictured style. However, despite all our trying we don’t control the seasons or the weather! So please note that the finished product may differ slightly due to the availability of flowers, and colour levels in the store at the time.

Similarly with containers, if suppliers are out of stock of a pictured container, vase or wrap, we will use a product with a similar look.

i.e. our focus is the overall look of the gift – if a bouquet features pink gerberas and orange wrap is ordered, and we do not have pink gerberas, we deem an acceptable substitute to be orange gerberas with pink wrap, in the same style.

All bouquets on the website feature open flowers, whereas we send them out tight/closed. This means the Recipient will receive the freshest flowers, enjoy watching them open and get the longest vase life from them rather than us. We think this is a good thing, rather than a bad thing!

 

 

Delivery Info

  • Order online to receive FREE delivery to most  Auckland areas

  • ​​​Auckland delivery costs $15 when placed over the phone
    – Delivery cut-off times are 1pm weekdays and 9am Saturday
    We guarantee delivery to:
    – Schools by 3pm (Must be received by 9.00am for same day delivery and in Auckland Metro area not outer areas)
    – Work by 5pm if order placed by 11am*.
    * Couriers do their utmost to deliver orders placed later in the day but traffic issues may cause delays particularly on the top of the North Shore and far West.  We will always notify you of this and may require a residential address.
    – Hospitals by 7pm
    – Residential by 7pm (excludes outer areas)
    – All Auckland outer and rural deliveries are made off the last run of the day and will be late afternoon or evening delivery.  They will be delivered asap but we cannot guarantee times

  • Floral couriers only call once and do not require a signature.

  • Statutory holidays. We cannot do delivery’s on Auckland Statutory Holidays

Chargeable delivery areas

  • Extras Only – If you choose to deliver just an extra item (i.e. balloons or chocolates) free delivery does not apply. Delivery cost is $15.
  • Auckland Outer/Rural can be done on a same day basis and incur a delivery surcharge of $10 – $30. Order by 1pm that day (weekdays only). No timed or urgent deliveries.  Deliveries to schools & businesses in outer/rural areas need to be ordered by 12 the day before delivery to guarantee delivery by 3 to school and 5 to business.  All outer and rural residential deliveries are done on the last run of the day, so delivery will normally be late afternoon or evening.
  • North Island – we only deliver through the Auckland region
  • South Island – we no longer deliver to the South Island.
  • Rural deliveries – we do not delivery to rural addresses outside of the Auckland region.
  • Re-delivery fee – If it eventuates that the delivery address you have given us is incorrect or no longer applies – a $15 re-delivery fee will be payable prior to your flowers being redirected. This will also apply if the couriers cannot gain access to a property due to security gates or inaccessable apartments.
